Duc Nguyen Among World's Top 2% Most Cited Researchers (2024)
We are proud to announce that Prof. Duc Nguyen has been named among the world’s top 2% most cited researchers, according to the prestigious Stanford University/Elsevier citation database (August 2024 data-update).
This ranking, considered one of the most comprehensive assessments of scientific impact, identifies the top 2% of scientists worldwide across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. The selection is based on a composite indicator (c-score) that takes into account standardized citation metrics, including total citations, h-index, and co-authorship adjusted impact, providing a rigorous measure of a researcher’s influence and the reach of their work.
Career-long data are updated to end-of-2023 and single recent year data pertain to citations received during calendar year 2023. The selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field. This version (7) is based on the August 1, 2024 snapshot from Scopus, updated to end of citation year 2023.
