Duc Nguyen Among World's Top 2% Most Cited Researchers (2022)

We are proud to announce that Prof. Duc Nguyen has been named among the world’s top 2% most cited researchers, according to the prestigious Stanford University/Elsevier citation database (based on data collected through 2022).

This ranking, considered one of the most comprehensive assessments of scientific impact, identifies the top 2% of scientists worldwide across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. The selection is based on a composite indicator (c-score) that takes into account standardized citation metrics, including total citations, h-index, and co-authorship adjusted impact, providing a rigorous measure of a researcher’s influence and the reach of their work.

Career-long data are updated to end-of-2022 and single recent year data pertain to citations received during calendar year 2022. The selection is based on the top 100,000 scientists by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above in the sub-field. This version (6) is based on the October 1, 2023 snapshot from Scopus, updated to end of citation year 2022.

Prof. Nguyen’s inclusion in this list highlights the significant global impact of his research in applied mathematics and computational science.
